Coupling/Decoupling Networks
As the name suggests, a CDN performs both coupling and decoupling functions. These functions are defined in IEC 61000-4-6 as follows:
Coupling Network: Electrical circuit for transferring energy from one circuit to another with a defined impedance
Decoupling Network: Electrical circuit for preventing test signals applied to the EUT from affecting other devices, equipment or systems that are not under test
