The BK Precision 8620 programmable DC electronic load offers the high performance of modular DC loads in a 3U form factor. Newly-added features include a new bright dual-line display that shows both measured input values and set parameters simultaneously, GPIB interface and USBTMC support. Its fast transient operation speeds and high 16-bit measurement resolution, make the 8620 standalone DC load ideal for testing and evaluating a variety of DC sources such as DC power supplies, DC-DC converters, batteries, battery chargers, and photovoltaic arrays. The BK 8620 DC electronic load has an operating voltage of 120 V and rated current of 480 A, adjustable slew rates, and extensive protection features include overtemperature, overvoltage, overcurrent, overpower, and reverse polarity protection to guard valuable devices under test. In addition, the 8620 provides a power-on system self-test.
