The IET Labs RS-RTD is a economical, indispensable, portable RTD Simulator. With a wide continuous range of 0.01 Ω – 10 kΩ, you can source out any temperature value on the RS-RTD with a 0.025 ºC resolution.
The RS-RTD uses actual resistors. Many competitive RTD calibrators are mistakenly designed for currents flowing in only one direction through the device; they are not bipolar or bi-directional with respect to current.
Another feature of the RS-RTD is that it uses convenient side by side, color coded, thumbwheel switches that allow for direct reading. There is no fumbling with multiple slide or rotary switches. Simply dial in the desired values and use! Made of high impact plastic and weighing less than a pound, these RTD Simulators are very portable and can reduce clutter on a busy lab bench.
