The Tektronix TM 5003 is a compact power module mainframe, accepting up to three single-wide instruments at one time. It is a benchtop mainframe, and has carry handles for portable applications. Although the TM5003 was designed specifically for the programmable TM 5000 line of test and measurement instruments, all of the TM 500 manual plug-in instruments will also operate in this mainframe. This allows manual and programmable instruments to be mounted together in adjacent slots, and permits unique compact combinations of test instruments to be assembled for specific test applications.The TM 5003 includes a quiet fan for optimum cooling. It has feet, tilt-balls, handles, and front panel power switches.
