The IET Labs GenRad 1689-9600 Test fixture which adapts 1689M & 1693 Digibridges to radial or axial leaded components. Connection is made by via BNC to BNC cable (1689-9602) included with 1689M/93.
Fixture includes two axial lead test clips 1657-5995.
Open and short instructions
Instrument zeroing should be performed once the test fixture is connected. For an open, a lead or buss wire should be inserted in the + slot and another lead in the – slot to ensure good contact between the wiper blades. For a short the + and – contacts should be shorted together with bus wire, the larger the better, but in accordance with wire sizes discussed above.
